Information we collect

Depending on your enquiry, we may collect:

• Your telephone number, if you provide it.

• Your child’s school year and the subjects they need support with.

• Your preferences for tuition sessions.

• Information you provide in messages and follow-up conversations.

We collect information directly from you. If you submit a LinkedIn enquiry form, we receive the details you submit through LinkedIn. Some fields may be pre-filled from your LinkedIn profile.

Our enquiry forms are intended for parents and guardians. Please do not include medical information or other sensitive details about your child in an initial enquiry.

How we use your information

We use enquiry information to:

• Respond to your questions.

• Understand the tuition support you are looking for.

• Discuss suitable sessions, availability and fees.

• Arrange next steps and keep track of our correspondence.

Providing information is voluntary. However, without contact details or enough information about the support you want, we may be unable to respond or suggest suitable tuition.

Submitting an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to newsletters or unrelated promotional messages.

Our legal grounds for using information

Under UK data protection law, we need a lawful basis for using personal information.

Steps before entering into a contract: We use this basis where you ask us to provide information, a quotation or arrangements necessary before entering into a tuition agreement with you.

Legitimate interests: We use this basis to handle general enquiries and limited information about your child, such as their school year and subjects. Our interest is in responding to requests and identifying suitable educational support. We must balance this against your rights and your child’s interests.

Storage and sharing

We keep enquiry correspondence in our email inbox, provided through Hostinger. Hostinger also hosts our website and processes information as necessary to provide these services.

Information may be accessed by authorised people at Jasiel who need it to respond to your enquiry or discuss suitable tuition.

International processing

How long we keep enquiries

For enquiries that do not lead to enrolment, we retain our enquiry records for six months after our last contact with you. We then delete them, including any working copies we have downloaded.

If particular information needs to be retained to meet a legal obligation or deal with an ongoing dispute, we retain only what is necessary for that purpose.

If you enrol, relevant information may become part of your student or customer record. We will provide additional privacy information about enrolment records, their uses and retention.

Our website is hosted by Hostinger. Hosting systems may process technical information, such as IP addresses and server logs, to deliver, maintain and protect the website.

We do not use analytics or advertising trackers on our website. This does not mean that no technical information or essential cookies are used to operate the website.

We rely on our legitimate interest in operating a functioning and secure website for necessary technical processing.
